The Natural Yarn Company stocks some of the best new and established British wool brands in 2026 (and beyond!) for your knitting and crochet needs, and we're so excited that the shop is finally live!

We're an online boutique yarn store, and we're all about natural fibres and sustainable crafting. We choose to stock pure wool yarns that are made in the UK by brands who share our values: John Arbon Textiles, Bramble & Fleece, Woolyknit and World of Wool. All make natural yarns with a great story, and our selection covers a range of luxury and affordable pure wool options.

We're not just here to sell yarn, though. We're here to make a change: for the climate, for the planet, and for the future. Our promise is that we donate 10% of sales to support charities that are working to protect and recover nature and biodiversity in the UK, and tackle the effects of climate change.

So when you buy your British wool, tools or notions from us, you are making a difference, too.

Accountability and transparency are really important to us, so we will be reporting back on how much further we and our customers have made our yarn go.
